Do you prefer to spend a three-day weekend chilling at home or hitting the road?

Actually, I've always preferred doing homework...NOT.

I'm currently in position 1524 out of 81880 with nine hours left and I know I only have a slim chance at winning, but I'm still determined. Make this miracle happen, VOTE (and get others to vote)!

From the design to the features, what should the perfect kid-friendly laptop include? What would you leave out?

Kids don't NEED laptops! If a parent wants to teach their child early computing skills (while teaching them the basic principle of sharing), have them learn on the family desktop.

If you could only eat one kind of cuisine—Mexican, Thai, French, Italian, Indian, Chinese, etc.—for the rest of your life, which one would you choose?

View 503 Answers

I haven't tried French or Thai food and I don't eat the others often enough, but I could probably live off of Italian food. So many different dishes, it's kind of difficult to not like it :P

What challenges stand in the way of your ideal lifestyle? How are you working to overcome them?

I feel as if I have quite a few personal obstacles standing in the way of the person I want to fully become. One of those is lack of drive. Sure I've had hobbies and interests that I've been really into, but most of those have faded. And I attribute my having little to no direction in life to this. I always connect this problem to all my delays I was faced with when I was younger, but I really need to learn to build up the motivation to get over my lull. /end self-pitying rant

What do you miss most about being a kid?

Almost everything. Being forgiven for saying and doing stupid and illogical things, having little to no inhibitions, and not being so self-conscious. And of course the play time :D

When you have to study or get work done, what music (if any) do you put on to help you concentrate?

View 506 Answers

I start off with hard rock (what I usually listen to anyway) to try to get me energized but then I have to turn it off after I see an hour and a half has passed by and haven't made any progress :x  I'm better off not listening to anything or something without lyrics.

Have you ever considered converting to another religion?

View 504 Answers

Kind of, yeah. Particularly to another Christian denomination. I'm not serious about converting but I never felt that strong of a connection with Catholicism. I believe in some of the things it teaches but others I disagree with. And I feel as if true involvement in parish communities can be really exclusive. Eh, I'm not that religious as it is, I'll just stay where I am.

If you could be a teenager living in any decade, which one would you choose?

Probably the '50s because they seemed so carefree or the '90s because of the awesomely cheesy music and television :D I mean, I love all of the new technology we have now, but I feel as if some people become too materialistic and are being less reliable because of it.

Do you think that animals feel regret?

I doubt it. They do what they need to survive.

Do you still use a landline at home, or do you rely completely on your cell phone?

View 502 Answers

I use both; my cell when I'm out and my landline when I'm home. People think I'm weird for not having my phone on at all times, but whatev...

Do you seek attention or hide from it?

Submitted By [info]novarr

Let's put it this way - when I want attention, I don't get it and when I do receive attention, it's the kind I don't want at that moment (and I end up making a fool of myself).

Are you worried about catching the swine flu? Do you have a plan for avoiding contagion or dealing with quarantine?

View 501 Answers

I'm not worried just yet. I think it's been blown out of proportion just a bit. I mean it's not as big of a fluke as SARS was, but there are only about 60 people out of 250 mil in the United States confirmed to have it. And despite my views on illegal immigration, it's absolutely ridiculous that morons are saying, "AHHH! I have Mexican friends, WHAT DO WE DO?!?" Not all Mexicans (or just Mexicans) have been over the border within the past three weeks, durrrr.  We should treat it as if we were trying to avoid any other illness - keep clean.

Though supposedly there were a few girls in school today who threw up and had to go home, as well as another guy who was sweating profusely, so I'm really hoping I haven't crossed paths with any of these people.

Do you volunteer your time or donate money to any charitable organizations? Which ones, and why?

View 500 Answers

Oh, what a perfect opportunity to pimp out my Relay for Life page!

http://main.acsevents.org/goto/andrea.d

Pimpin' ain't easy, guys. It really isn't *shakes head*

Other than that, I don't do regularized charity work, but I would like to when I'm older. Right now I just try to attend as many walks as I can. Today I just did the March of Dimes' March for Babies walk. I started doing them mostly for the community service hours but they're a good cause and they force it forces me to exercise :P

Who do you think it is easier to talk about your problems with: your friends, your family, or strangers?

View 501 Answers

It mostly depends on what kind of problem. Sometimes there are problems that can only be remedied by or discussed with your family or friends, but when you have problems with any of them, strangers are best to confide in. But it's probably easiest to get your point across to strangers because they don't know your life so they really have no place to call you out.

I just joined a team for Relay for Life! I'm really glad our event is June 19th so it'll give me more time to raise money.

I'll love you forever if you donate <33
