As a non-Twihard, I am surprised to admit that I actually enjoyed New Moon. It may have been because I was expecting so little of it, but I managed to stay awake the entire 2+ hours, which kind of says a lot. It was definitely an improvement to the trainwreck that was Twilight. In spite of all of this positive commentary, I don't dislike the franchise any less.

Would I sign up for a tarot.com subscription for daily horoscopes if I didn't believe in astrology? I read them almost everyday, but I prefer reading them after the day is over so I can reflect on the day rather than have it dictate how my day is going to go.

And I couldn't really get annoyed at people making assumptions over my sign, because I'm the one to make assumptions :x I use signs to predict how well I'll get along with someone new.

Kids don't NEED laptops! If a parent wants to teach their child early computing skills (while teaching them the basic principle of sharing), have them learn on the family desktop.

I feel as if I have quite a few personal obstacles standing in the way of the person I want to fully become. One of those is lack of drive. Sure I've had hobbies and interests that I've been really into, but most of those have faded. And I attribute my having little to no direction in life to this. I always connect this problem to all my delays I was faced with when I was younger, but I really need to learn to build up the motivation to get over my lull. /end self-pitying rant

Kind of, yeah. Particularly to another Christian denomination. I'm not serious about converting but I never felt that strong of a connection with Catholicism. I believe in some of the things it teaches but others I disagree with. And I feel as if true involvement in parish communities can be really exclusive. Eh, I'm not that religious as it is, I'll just stay where I am.

I'm not worried just yet. I think it's been blown out of proportion just a bit. I mean it's not as big of a fluke as SARS was, but there are only about 60 people out of 250 mil in the United States confirmed to have it. And despite my views on illegal immigration, it's absolutely ridiculous that morons are saying, "AHHH! I have Mexican friends, WHAT DO WE DO?!?" Not all Mexicans (or just Mexicans) have been over the border within the past three weeks, durrrr. We should treat it as if we were trying to avoid any other illness - keep clean.

Though supposedly there were a few girls in school today who threw up and had to go home, as well as another guy who was sweating profusely, so I'm really hoping I haven't crossed paths with any of these people.

It mostly depends on what kind of problem. Sometimes there are problems that can only be remedied by or discussed with your family or friends, but when you have problems with any of them, strangers are best to confide in. But it's probably easiest to get your point across to strangers because they don't know your life so they really have no place to call you out.

I don't know. I've never really experienced that. I guess I would like to believe that there is one person out there that you're destined to be with, but that's more wishful thinking than anything else.

Can't say the same for love at first sight, though. The way I see it, it's just a superficial excuse for lust. I really don't think it's possible to fall in love with someone until you know what they're about.

But my viewpoints could probably change in the next few years.

Talking on the phone. My cell doesn't have a QWERTY keyboard and I don't know how T9 works, so texting takes forever. I guess the main reason for my preference is all of the times my friends text in front of my face while I'm talking to them! It's just not respectful :/

My favorite looks were worn by Amy Adams, Taraji P. Henson, Anne Hathaway, Kate Winslet, and Angelina Jolie. Out of the guys, Hugh Jackman, Robert Downey Jr., and Will Smith ranked HIGH on the bangability scale! Oh snap, according to Firefox's spell check, bangability is a real word XD
